NZ Super-X Champs Oreti
Sam Martin won the Senior Open Class riding Jacob Scammell's new 2015 CRF 450 and finished runner up to another Aussie, JCR Yamaha rider Jay Wilson on the BSH CRF 250. Unfortunately for Sam Duncanson to much close racing with Martin put him on the ground a couple of times and he finished a creditable fourth. 2013 You Tube Video
Burt Munro Challenge 2014
Jacob Scammell entered as many classes as he could during the 2014 Burt Munro Challenge. He even told Brent "if he got him a speedway bike he'd ride that too!" but that didn't happen!!!
Starting on the Thursday with a wet Bluff Hill Jacob powered his way to a creditable 5th overall in the NZ up to 600 cc championship on the 2014 CRF 450. Then he raced out to Witnon to watch Sam Martin wrap up the NZ Supercross champs on his new 2015 CRF 450. Friday saw a seventh place in the 50 lap Beach Race even with his pit crew not being ready for his fuel stop (Whoops!!)
Track racing at Teretonga was Saturday's feat, then a well placed 12th overall in the the Motard Class in a field of 25, at the Wyndham Street Race. The Motard class at Wyndham was won by Josh Coppins with Brent 2nd.
NZ MX Vet Championships
