OUTSTANDING TALENT FOR HONDA NZ SUPERCROSS
Some of the best riders around are set to line up at the Honda NZ Supercross Championships at the Vetsouth Supercross track in Winton on day 1 of the Burt Munro Challenge Thursday November 26. Headlining the MX1 Class is World renown and multi NZ champion Josh Coppins and 2013 NZ Supercross winner Cody Cooper. Ready to take on the kiwis are Brisbane boys Nick Sutherland and Sam Duncansen and with their previous visits to Winton riding their Brent Scammell Honda CRF450's they know what it will take to beat the New Zealand legends. Also lining up to battle with his Ex-Boss Josh Coppins is Queenstowner Scott Columb on his new Kawasaki KXF450.
The MX2 Class will not be easy either as Geran Stapleton flies in between Australian Supercross rounds to ride the Brent Scammell Honda CRF250 . World KTM Junior Factory rider, NZ's own Josiah Natzke ,is out to try and keep the title Aussie rider Jay Wilson took home last year out of Stapletons luggage.
Gates open at the Vetsouth Supercross Track at 5pm giving spectators time to get from the NZ Hillclimb Champs in Bluff earlier in the day.
