This year sees the return of Supercross action to the already famous Burt Munro Challenge in Southland. The Vetsouth - Cooper Supercross track at Ryan Road Winton will be the venue for the only Supercross in New Zealand this year and it will be a 1 round New Zealand Championship bought to you by Honda! Already confirmed and ready to defend his last years NZ Supercross Lites title is JCR Altherm rider Jay Wilson from Australia. Sam Martin , also from Australia and the inaugural double champion in 2012 will again ride both 250 and 450 Honda's and is looking to take both trophies home. Another Aussie , and last year's runner up to Cody Cooper in the Supercross Open class, Sam Duncanson is ready to move to the top spot of the podium and with Cody Cooper still recovering from injury he has left room in his luggage for that number 1 trophy!
Track owner and huge Supercross fan, Jim Cooper has the track groomed to perfection and has it available for practice and training leading up to the event on November 27 ,so NZ riders keep your entries coming in and keep practicing if you don't want those trophies heading back to Australia.
